art classes

ALL are welcome, regardless of experience. I believe that everyone has the ability to communicate through art. I really enjoy guiding people of all ages in finding the best way for them to get their ideas across. I have taught art in a variety of settings, and I am happy to host different art classes using many different media; encaustics, drawing, acrylic painting - just ask!

Currently I have booking available for my encaustic workshops, please keep reading for more information on this fun, relaxing experience.....

Working in encaustics can be very therapeutic :) In a relaxed space, I will encourage you to explore your creative side. My Art is in the permanent collection at the Museum of Encaustic Art as well as public, private and corporate collections in the US, Canada, Panama, Belgium, France and the UK. I have been a professional artist for over 20 years, and I love sharing this process with others. If you can't find a day or time that works for you, or would like to book for a larger group, feel free to ask! I will always try to make it work ~ ❀

What we’ll do

While visiting my art studio, you will learn the process and techniques that can be used in working with encaustics to paint. I will provide the encaustics and the tools, giving you the chance to try this art medium without having to invest in all of the needed supplies. I am an experienced artist and educator and together we will explore the medium; try different techniques AND have the opportunity to create a small painting to take home. You will be painting, so be ready to be a bit messy :) We will be using hot plates and heat guns. The material is notoriously spontaneous, so be prepared to have fun and go with the flow!

Bring your friends, come meet some new ones, or book a private session for one on one, family time or a date night.

You can sign up for a 2hr intro class via Airbnb! Just click here! ( There are reviews and more information there as well :) If you would rather set up a class directly with me, that is fine too. Just send me an email, we will figure it out together.
